The Situation
The client, a manufacturer of ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer resins, owned multiple domains and Exchange mail server solutions. Waypoint engineers assessed the client's situation and saw that the client needed a unified infrastructure to operate more efficiently.
The Solution
Waypoint implemented a new Windows 2003 domain infrastructure and Exchange 2007 solution, bringing the multiple domains and Exchange mail server solutions into one integrated custom solution for the client. Waypoint effectively analyzed, designed and deployed a new active directory migration plan across multiple remote locations. During the domain migration, Waypoint deployed front and backend Exchange servers. Waypoint also implemented an Internet fail-over solution and a hosted disaster recovery solution.
The Benefit
By merging the multiple domains and exchange mail server solutions, the client now operates more effi ciently. The new infrastructure allows for better communication throughout the company. Waypoint now actively monitors EVALCA and provides the client with monthly uptime reports.
